Good run after putting back everything in the kitchen (we are in the middle of painting almost the whole house). Nice overcast day first I ran south on the parkway with little Sammy then I ran north on the parkway not to many runners more dog walkers. Hope saturday is good running good weather and good fun.

Bye bye :)

I knew I wasn't in great shape due to injuries but it was kind of ugly toward the end. We pluged in my Garmin and the number of up and down lines at the end looked like I was making up all sorts of lies on a lie detector test.

Age has some benefits though I did place third in my divison. But I could barly stand sitting all the way home, glad it wasn't farther. Now we have a  sports massage at 4:oo. Maybe it will help.

Bye bye :)

Sammy and I ran with the wind south on the parkway a mile and a half then turning around found the wind was chilly and gusty. All in all not a bad easy run.

Bye bye :)

Sammy didn't want to run so I ran four miles north on the parkway alone. But it was a beautiful day! Sunny with a lot of south wind (good resistence training). Saw quite a few other runners and wondered if they were running saturday's SL race. Had time to wonder about a lot of things, how come ducks and geese get so tame this time of year they just watch as I run by with in a few feet? And many other silly wonderings. I felt good but still had siatica after.

Bye bye:)

One mile south with Sammy, two boot camp sets. It was a cold windy day with some snow showers. But I need to shake out the legs.

Bye bye:)

I was going to wait untill I knew my place in the race but I'll update my blog later.

I can't complain about the tempeture, nice before during and after. The main problem with the weather was the wind (yecks it was super big kite wind)!

The first half of the race I ran between 8:30"s and 8:45, then I slowed down a bit becase of my siatica and shoulder problems at least I didn't have much  athma.

I could not find Brent after and wandered around alot trying to find him gave up and got my gear bag and went back to the truck again when he finally showed up. Glad to get home.

I'll update later bye:)

Earth day run north on the parkway nice day just a little cool but no wind! The Swallows are back! And I saw a Kingfisher. I pushed all the hills and kept the pace up as much as I could.

Bye :)

Ran with Brent on his new-old bike it was a Cold, windy, partly sunny day. Had to do good so tried to push the hills and keep a pretty good pace. Brents new-old bikes chain came off about two and a half miles out :( stood around in the cold finally got it back on.

Bye :)
