Div. 1st at Hobble Creek 2007 with time 1:46, St.George marathon PR of 3:45, finished ahead of my hubby Brent at 2006 St.George. Ran two marathons TOU and St.George in three weeks.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Set a PR at St.George 2008, get faster without injury
Long-Term Running Goals:
Run forever, enjoy with wind in my hair, smell the roses on each run and keep running fun.
Personal:
Three sons, two of them have run the St.George Marathon.
Sammy and I ran with the wind south on the parkway a mile and a half then turning around found the wind was chilly and gusty. All in all not a bad easy run.
Sorry I've been running around and not in my running shoes, work and birthdays, painting the house, yard work, you all know... life interups everything!
I am glad you are ok ... just checking in with you. Is that your garden in the picture you have posted? It is very nice.
We will be doing our long run on the Jordan River Parkway tomorrow -- we usually start down near Redwood Park and run to 215 and turn around -- do you guys run this section much?
Hay Bonnie, we live about 5720 South on the parkway, so we run that section for 10 or more mile runs. We hide water at 3900 south and drink it twice during our 20 mile runs. It would be fun to run with you later when we aren't both injured :(
The picture is on the parkway at the Kennecott Arbouredum(sp?).
Hope you have a great run!
