We ran south on the Murray Parkway a mile and a half, beautiful day! Comming back a majestic bald egale flew right over our heads  I turned around to follow  it flying south along the river it was a beaultiful sight. We droped the snow dog off and then ran north two miles, there were many patches of ice and we had to hop scotch a lot. On our return trip the wind picked up and it was a lot harder to hop scotch and run.

I want spring now not in six weeks!

For your sakes I hope the ground hog did not see his shadow today. it's amazing what you guys run through.

That is so cool that you saw a bald eagle! Great run, Sylvie.

Nice run today! And nice pic of you and your beautiful dog! (guess you weren't too thrilled w/ Punxsutawney Phil's prediction today?) Hey I like that blog name- artistic runner... so I take it you're an artist? What medium?

Sylvie, nice picture, no closeups for me, might break the camera. Fun run yesterday, surprised to see so many runners playing hopscotch also. Maybe the Rumplestillskins have awakened from winter naps on ground hog day hoping for spring. We have several tough race/hard/training/character builder/weeks coming up. Always good to run with my smell the roses leader, or I might miss much of the wonders of nature.

Hey Lybi,

Your so lucky to be in AZ for the winter, I'm not sure I could take all the heat in the summer. I understand California coast has the best mean temp. If you come up here please come for a run with us and see how pretty the Murray parkway is.

Hey Christi,

You guessed it I am truly dissapointed in all the predictions of more winter! Thanks for asking I have an associates in Visual Arts & Design, I also thought for many years I would make a part time living selling my oil paintings but that is really hard to do. Now every time I run or when I'm out in nature I see paintings in my minds eye and in someways thats better.

Thanks for the invitation, Sylvie. I've never really been sure of where it is you guys live, is it North or South of Provo? All I know is that you guys see the most amazing wildlife!

That's so cool that you oil paint, too. Multi-talented woman!

Lybi, We are in Murray City which just a few miles south of SLC, kind of in the middle of the Valley. The Parkway is along the Jordan River, like the Provo River Parkway.
