Sunny cold day just looking outside it looks warm don't be fooled. I ran a mile and a half south on the parkway with sammy when I droped her off I put on a headband and gloves burrrr. Then I ran a mile and a half north on the parkway. I did see three other runners with their dogs.

I want to thank the bloggers for their great comments on the Canyonlands race. I haven't run hardly at all since then because of sciatica, my right leg problems (hamstring, knee, and achillis) turned into sciatica I couldn't hardly sit all the way home from Moab. So I've been streching and doing core exersices. This is the first run in five days I stoped about every quarter mile to strech I do have some pain but not unbearable.

bye now

Sylvie, good job getting out. It makes me wonder how cold the striders half will be? I hope with both can do it?

Sometimes I see the sun outside and assume it is warm....ha ha, we all know what assume means! I am getting tired of layers. I feel like it take forever just to get all the gear on. I hope Striders isn't going to be too cold. And I really hope you and Brent are both going to be feeling great! Are you two staying up there the night before? We ought to find out who is going to be there and maybe we could all go out for a nice pasta dinner somewhere.
