Ran south on the parkway with Sammy one mile then I had to make a conference call for my work. Then I ran north on the parkway two miles saw a big garden snake sun bathing across the path so I chased it toward the river so it wouldn't get run over by a biker.

Came back and waited for my freind Sally to get home from work to run three more miles. We are going to run the Race For The Cure saturday, Its her very first race. She did really well tonight and I think we will propably be able to run 8:30 pace.

Maybe you should start a nine mile race in memory of your run and call it "Save the Snakes 9 mile run". (nine miles because that is your total you ran). I think I would have let the snake chase me toward the river! I hate snakes! You are such a nice person to have the desire to save it!

Brent, nice ramblings up there! Is there a tune to it? It's good you have a fun and creative mind during recovery! Hope you are both doing well. And good luck on the race for the cure! Tell your friend, Sally, that she has cheers from the bloggers coming her way!
