I put 3.1 fast miles which is reletive to the pain in my hamstring, sometimes running the best you can is fast under the conditions. Brent has told all the fun things about the race; the people from the blog, old running freinds, and the (party) after the race.  All were good times.

Now with the first race of the year under my running shoes I will heal my injuries and train harder to be up to speed with my lovey hubby.

What was your time? Did Brent get you converted to a Jazz Fan yet? It's a big commitment, like riding the worlds biggest, tallest, roughest roller coaster.

Sylvie, great race under the conditions. We will have much more hard fun over the next 3 months. All this race/hard training makes a body good.

Hi Sylvie -- I hope to be at the 10K in two weeks will you be there? I am both dreading and looking forward to my first "race-while-not-in-race-shape" as well! Good job getting out there and getting the job done!

Thanks Mike I like to pick and choose commitments, maybe I will.

Brent your all talk about massages usually so I'll wait and see.

Bonnie I look forward to meeting you at the 10K. Just do it (easy to say harder to do).

Great job Sylvie! Hope your hamstring holds up and doesn't cramp your style anymore.

From Tom on Sun, Jan 27, 2008 at 18:36:50

Great job Sylvie, especially with the sore hamstring. Hope you recover nicely and can have an injury/pain free race next time.

You better let us know if Brent comes through with the massage. I say he gets docked a few commando points if he fails to deliver!
