Placed 19th out of 111.   This was my 13th STG and 18th marathon.   As this was my first year in a new age divisiioin, thought I was ready, just not my day.  The hills were brutal for some reason, just did not have it on the hills.  But, I gave it my best effort for the day.

The weather was great, talked to several running buddies, seen Sherry and Bruce, real old time running buddies.  Brent did better than expected, he is such a sand bagger.

I was so darn tired after the race, slept for 3 hours.   Funny thing about marathons, today we were already talking about training at altitude on hills, get stronger and better VO2 max.  Do it, don't talk about it.

Last thing, really miss Brent pushing the pace on long runs, as much as I may have complained, not out loud, against the BS Rools, it really helped to get me in shape.

Sylvie Out

By the way, shirts were crap, no sizing for women.

Great job on the race, the hills are brutal. it is a fast course, but you have to make it through those hills! great accomplishment with all of the marathons!!
