I'm Glad to have that race done, it was a real foot and quad slapper!

The first two miles were flat or a little up hill. Then look out! major down hill for four miles. At five miles my watch was 39:50. after the six mile mark it all caught up to me! I had to stop a couple of times (maybe more than a couple) to use my inhaler. The air was crisp but smokey and the altitue being almost 8,ooo feet, my asthma was a little worse than usual.

But all in all it was a smokin first half and a hang on to the end second half. With beautiful senery and a good breakfast in the park after.

Sylvie out:)

Sylvie, great race, your pace was faster than my 5K pace. Very impressive, 2nd place, 200 commando points. You are ramping up to great shape for St.George. I still think you can give it a shot for a PR and top 8 placing in your division.

Stay Kool, darn long ride today, B of BS Rools out

Welcome back Sylvie and Brent! Sylvie - great to see your race report after a bit of "vacation" from the blog. Congrats on a great race! Looking good for SGM!

Still waiting for that race report from Brent.....

Yeah Sylvie! You go girl! I am so glad your asthma doesn't stop you from doing things you love! You need to be a spokesgirl for your inhaler and have them pay for all of your races!

Hey Sylvie, wish we would have ran into you this morning on your parkway! Would have loved to see you!

Kim It really would have been fun to see you all on the parkway! Hope we can get together before SGM.
