(Ghost Writer)  Goal, to better my time from last yard, 1 minute quicker.  My second goal, to hopefully place in my division, goal 2, yes.  Third goal, no injury on the 4 and 1/2 miles of steep downhill - goal met.  If you have not ran the course - starts in the dark, 6 a.m., 1/2 mile from Ruby's inn.   The starting gun, is a blank gun, jump starts.  This race can be broken down into three segments.  The first, run like heck for the first 1.5 miles to get to the downhill section, second section - run fast and smooth, well the smooth part is not possible, just run fast.   The third segment, get your running legs to work after the downhill, tough task.

The first 10 miles, hit in 1:22, struggled in the last three miles.  Happy with the run, need more strength to hang on.

The next two days were fun and relaxing at the Boulder Mountain lodge, B of BS Rools I'm sure will have some things to say.

Also, B (Brent) encouraged me to ride a bike saturday and sunday up and downthe Burr Trail.  My quads are so sore.

Sylvie, great race, your right on track for goal race at St.George. It must be your coach (happens to be me). Your hill work is really paying off.

Stay Kool, B of BS Rools out
